Bob is the Managing Partner in the Accounting firm of AVZ and has been with them since 1980. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants where he serves as chairman of the Banker/CPA Golf Outing Committee for the Suffolk Chapter, he is a past President of the Suffolk Chapter and has also acted as chairman of the Emerging Technologies/Management of an Accounting Practice Committee and is a past chairman of its Real Estate and Construction Contractor Committee for the Suffolk Chapter. In addition, Mr. Quarte serves on the Peer Review Committee for New York State, is a team captain of peer reviews for the AICPA, is a member of the HIA-LI Board of Directors and is a class of 2016 member of the Energia Partnership.
Mr. Quarte is a registered representative who has passed the FINRA Series 7 and NASAA Series 66 exams. He also holds a New York State Life and Health Insurance License. Mr. Quarte works on a variety of accounting and auditing engagements including clients in the retail, manufacturing, construction, real estate, and distribution industries as well as Employee Benefit Plan Audits. He provides management advisory services, financial projections, business valuations, accounting systems and controls, and estate planning.
Mr. Quarte holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University and publishes articles for financial and local publications. He was an Adjunct Professor at Stony Brook University teaching an Advanced Accounting Problems course to graduate students. He is also an active member in various civic and charitable organizations, including Long Island Cares and Long Island University Post Student Advisory Board.

Tom received his BBA degree from Adelphi University in May 1981. Prior to the inception of the firm, he was employed for several years at a regional CPA firm as well as numerous years serving in the capacities of treasurer and controller of two major corporations on Long Island in the real estate development and manufacturing environments. He has vast experience servicing clients in the fields of real estate development and construction, distributors, printers, mail houses, leasing, condominium, and homeowner associations. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Lowenberg also holds a New York State Life and Health insurance license.
Tom is an active member of various charitable and community organizations. He is the Vice President – Finance of the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Suffolk, member of the Board of Directors of Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the past Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Kings Park Youth Athletic Association. He is also a certified advanced emergency medical technician and continues to volunteer his services in the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps
